Andy had failed a case interview with one firm but had a confirmed chance with McKinsey London, and he didn’t want to walk away without the offer. Just got off the phone with McKinsey and have been offered an Associate position!!!!!! I have absolutely no doubt that I couldn’t have done this without you.

For instance, in the lead up to the 2008 Great Recession, McKinsey actively promoted mortgage securitization , alongside EY which was involved with Lehman Brothers’ accounting fraud allegations [pdf]. It is a pull-system of lean manufacturing, by which each step in the production process only makes just enough to meet current demand.
