Alex Formstone is a Principal in Marakon ’s London office, and heads up recruiting in the UK for graduates and MBAs. I recently had the good fortune to talk briefly with Alex about his career, Marakon and its recruitment process. The conference normally runs over three days plus the weekend, last year this was held in Miami.

What’s next – when your resume doesn’t receive an interview; your first round doesn’t lead to a call-back; your final round receives a polite rejection? You’ll typically receive a rejection call after the interview. It felt to me like I didn’t perform well in summarizing the cases.

After flying out to Bangalore to pitch their idea, Pratt and Joshi were surprised to be given a meeting with the whole board of directors and went on to explain that their GDM would allow Infosys to undercut its competitors. Thankfully though, we don’t have any recordings of their set… INFOSYS CONSULTING INTERVIEWS AND RECRUITING.

A new research study I led at CTI uncovers, through a nationally representative survey of 3,212 individuals with STEM credentials, and through dozens of additional interviews and focus group conversations, the differentiators of success for women in STEM. We find that about 1/5 of women currently employed in STEM meet that bar.
