The Boston Consulting Group. EY Consulting. The office at NYC has grown quite a bit the past ~7 years.

Before I became general manager of The Beverly Hills Hotel, I held the same position at another luxury hotel up the coast. Later, he privately told me he was thinking of leaving the hotel. The director of finance grumbled that overtime costs were too high, due to high turnover and the fact that employee sick time had spiked.

Sure, it was a very nice hotel, and it's really, really cool for the first four weeks. This was not a deliberate choice, but I had the interest in the sector, I wasgood in certain aspects related to the finance industry, I liked my colleagues in that sector, and they and my clients liked me a lot. But I was never home.

It started off with contacting – actually, I reached out to recruiters specifically and sent in my application, and they were mostly very quick to respond to me. Because sometimes, for example, for a great recruiter, that might actually matter more to them than it would to a junior level person. All for the Boston practices, exactly.
