However, when Monitor Deloitte came to campus, I attended a case study workshop and sent my resume in. I found your site, literally a week or so before my case study interview. I eventually got up to 10 applications (which garnered 10 rejections or non-responses).

I know it is common practice to have alumni from a particular school screen resumes and CVs of applicants from that school. Get a book on financial statement analysis - there are a bunch of these out there, I recommend two in the reading list in HSMC. I finished 1st in McKinsey Budapest's case study competition.
