The space makes use of a set-up known as “hoteling,” in which staffers aren’t assigned a designated work space. The hoteling system in the building is also a great help for new mothers in the firm as they can schedule a room for privacy when pumping or even breastfeeding. Cool, or not? Interesting, the office in New York is very transient and has a hoteling system (so you don’t have an assigned desk) – so if you sign up for Deloitte NYC, be prepared to travel all the time. Fun fact: the project’s installation of energy-efficient lighting was one of New York City’s largest lighting retrofits ever.
