I applied to nine firms, and I had networked heavily with the four major players here in Germany, which are McKinsey, BCG, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (which are huge here!), I went through workshops offered by these firms and talked to numerous recruiters and consultants. It is a painful experience.

Before starting your application journey, the very first thing is to understand the recruitment process and selection criteria of those management consulting firms. During this first step, you will need to provide materials like your Cover Letter, Resume and Transcripts/Test scores (GMAT, GRE, etc.). BCG Australia prefers Ph.D.
