Here are 5 strategies that may help: 1. Attend industry events and conferences, join professional organizations, and seek out internships or job shadowing opportunities. Plus, many consulting firms recruit MBA graduates directly from business schools. This being said, getting hired will certainly not be a walk in the park.

As usual getting into McKinsey is tough, but it’s even tougher in NYC – with many target recruiting schools nearby and hundreds of aspirants swarming to locate in NY, it’s a highly competitive office.
