Using your frameworks and guidelines, I was able to recently secure offers from Oliver Wyman and McKinsey (I accepted the McKinsey offer). My school is a non-target and I am not sure if anybody from my school has received a non-MBA position at McKinsey in the past 10 years. so it seemed like a better fit for me, so I focused.

At McKinsey (London), the final round interviews, much like the first round, are all entirely interviewer-led scenarios. Some candidates at the McKinsey final round discovered that their interviewers were using the same exact cases across both rounds!). CV/covering letter. It simply wasn't like that! End My Comment.

Either your academic credentials or work experiences were not impressive enough (by their standards) or your cover letter didn't stand out enough. The cover letter is very, very, very important. Did I mention the consulting cover letter is very important? Not a single 2nd round.

While not as prestigious as Mckinsey or BCG, the firm is top in its field when it comes to [ Person's Favorite Industry ] consulting, and that focus was what I was looking for. I spent the last five months working in a grocery store after having turned down several job offers in finance and banking upon graduation last May.
