The Corporate Fund is Chicago’s general operating fund. Chicago’s property tax revenues do not go into its general operating fund. Governing Council decided today to lower the interest rate on the main refinancing operations of the Eurosystem by 10 basis points to 0.05% and the rate on the marginal lending facility by 10 basis points to 0.30%.
