In addition, having a finance internship under your belt shows that you’ve got the necessary quant skills to succeed in consulting. For the Pre-MBA level, finance should be your last option.

Some consulting news quickly worth repeating is that PwC finalized their acquisition of Booz & Company in April 2014, renaming Booz & Company to Strategy& in the process. So far, Strategy& hasn’t integrated with the consulting division of PwC and operates as separate entity. Strategy& ZS Associates.
