On our January 2014 Consulting Bootcamp tour, we travelled to several universities up and down the East Coast – Duke, Georgia Tech, UGA, Penn, Harvard, McGill, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Cornell. *. After a full day (8 hours) of interview training, our group had bonded big-time. 10AM – 11AM – Structuring the fit interview.

Working 80+ hours during stressful weeks, not being home (or having any notable social life) between Monday and Thursday, frequent travel, and a high-pressure work environment can really take a toll on some people. There are lots of drawbacks to this kind of work that many people initially tend to ignore or brush off as “not that bad.”

We hung out in the MASSIVE hall as Jenny Rae prepared to present the 2 hour bootcamp - the only time that day the largest venue at Wharton was used. As if traveling across the ocean on the plane wasn’t enough, we felt it necessary to use as many forms of transportation as necessary…so we took a train up to Durham University.
