For the last 4 years we’ve been running our popular Black Belt interview training courses – with tremendous success. On average, they do 40 cases with practice partners, 10 with us, and hours of personal reflection, preparation and planning for both fit and case interviews. How can we do even more to get ready?

It turns out that preparing for case interviews is fairly similar to preparing for Taekwon-Do Competitions. Martial arts have taught me discipline and the ability to learn new things, while also striving to perfect what I already know, which I employ as I prepare for the case interviews. I like that you balance avoiding "hard and fast" rules, but also provide very MECE As an industry hire, I had very few resources to get direct, comprehensive guidance from those with case interview experience - your stuff was essentially my platform to get started - and that it's available for free, is a gift. I teach one approach.

I probably put in over 100 hours preparing , and only about 80 of those were for the case, I believe those additional 20 hours of prep for the experience portions helped put me over the top when competing with other candidates from more target schools. Basically, to get interviews, network, network and then network some more.
