I additionally applied to Booz, AT Kearney, Oliver Wyman, Siemens Management Consulting, and OC&C. The only two firms which invited me without prior contact were OC&C and Oliver Wyman. I did the same for resume questions, i.e., I tried to structure my answers to questions like "Why our firm?"

The demand from top consulting firms for experienced hires has been growing and it has reached a peak during the pandemic for three reasons: There is a limited pool of MBA candidates, which means firms do not meet their recruitment targets by simply fishing in the MBA pond. Experienced hire opportunities are more erratic.

Oliver Wyman , OC&C , Roland Berger, or AT Kearney. A foray in to finance at this stage doesn’t portray skill-building on your part: it only creates confusion on your resume. Or does it mean you were meeting potential clients and pitching your product to them in professional settings and presentations?

Thanks to it, I was able to get an offer from BCG and Oliver Wyman. I really enjoyed meeting the consultants, but ultimately feel BCG is a better fit. My Reply: First off, congratulations on your BCG and Oliver Wyman offers. He found that McKinsey on the resume was a liability. Any thoughts?
