I read Marc Cosentino's Book ( Case in Point ), and I watched your videos (unfortunately, LOMS wasn't available yet). What you have to realize about this role of reading consulting resumes and cover letters is this. Out of 400 applications, I would say about 350 of them were clear and obvious mail merge cover letters. --.

I didn't write unique, custom-tailored or even interesting cover letters (seriously, if I had to read hundreds, I'd skip mine after the 5th word) 2. Additionally, I went through the Case Interview Secrets videos twice, and went through Cosentino 's book four times (in order to nail any possible estimation question and read through some more case examples). In order to prepare, I went through LOMS about seven times, turning it on at work and listening to it throughout the day.

CV/covering letter. He explained that many firms have a marking system with, say, five possible marks for academics, four possible marks for previous work experience, five for extra-curriculars and perhaps one or two for a sound covering letter. This is definitely on the extreme side. So it is much easier.
