In 2000, the group launched its first website, www.bridgespan.org, and started operations from a Boston-based office. In 2008, Bridgespan redesigned its website in an attempt to provide better knowledge transfer. Tierney came on board as the third co-founder in 1999 and stepped aside as Bain’s CEO in 2000 to focus on Bridgespan.
