Good morning, everyone. Hugh’s Words of Wisdom for Wednesday.

Today I want to talk to you about one word, purpose. In the midst of everything that is going on in our society and in our politics, in our economy and all across society, we are looking for something that's going to help us become more successful and more satisfied during all of the tumult that we're experiencing.

My contention is that one word that will make a difference for you and the word is purpose. And I wrote about it in my book, The Seven Principles of Transformational Leadership. It is the premise that the moment you fall in love with an idea, a dream, a hope or an aspiration and seek to embody excellence in that endeavor every day and that it provides exquisite value for people, that is a game changing moment for you as a leader and for your business.
