Today we continue our firm profile series with an in-depth review of Bridgespan. After the rejection, Tierney pitched the idea of creating an alliance with Bain that would be independent. Tierney came on board as the third co-founder in 1999 and stepped aside as Bain’s CEO in 2000 to focus on Bridgespan.
