Kearney is in [ Western Europe ] which would put me in a company with maybe less interesting projects and a bit worse perception on the market, but closer to the Western Europe.

I applied to nine firms, and I had networked heavily with the four major players here in Germany, which are McKinsey, BCG, Roland Berger Strategy Consultants (which are huge here!), I went through workshops offered by these firms and talked to numerous recruiters and consultants. Then interview day with BCG. I was devastated.

BCG in some countries seems to be using a very different format entirely. I was rejected from about 60-70% of all consultancies straight away, including Bain, BCG, Booz and many other great firms. In addition to this, many of Marc Cosentino 's examples are entirely candidate-led, with the interviewer barely saying anything.
