If three emails a day sounds like a lot, keep in mind that you don’t have to open every one … or you could get an admin person or virtual assistant to screen the emails for you. The article’s author is Charles Duhigg, who is also the author of “ The Power of Habit ” (a great book) and he also drew on information from other studies. One day I had two groups of employees, with a pre-selected mix of management, production people, and admin staff. It took the researchers a long time to make any headway.
