Kearney and almost landed one at McKinsey! I felt that, with the book, I was able to learn and grasp the main concepts and skills and, with the LOMS program, I exercised them. The recruiting process consisted on one exam, and three rounds of interviews. This is a good proxy of the type of problems tested.

2) Math standardized test scores need to be really high. I had perfect math scores on all of my standardized tests. standardized test scores on verbal were not important as high or low, they did not correlate with on the job performance and likelihood of promotion. So I walked into my final rounds expecting a blank canvas.
