This global retailer wanted to help 120 Senior Managers in Eastern Europe focus on change leadership, influence, and alignment excellence targeted to their unique environment as a component of an ongoing leadership development program. The highly customized workshop focused on the areas of having personal commitment, activating change leadership, using the power of why, communicating change, assessing change readiness, navigating paradoxes as a leader, and creating change resiliency.

Based upon data form our change management simulation, the process included:

1. Assessing the Current Situation
   • Reviewing overall leadership success factors and overall leadership program objectives.
   • Familiarizing with the other leadership modules to ensure alignment and consistency.
   • Examining current change methodologies, projects, and postmortems.
   • Agreeing on 1-to-2 desired business and learning objectives.
     
2. Designing the Activating Change Workshop
   • Creating a practical, relevant, and results oriented draft design to help make people think about new and different ways to successfully lead and manage change.
   • Reviewing the draft design with key stakeholders.
   • Finalizing design: pre-work, experiential learning activities, job aids, and post-work.
     
3. Delivering the Activating Change Workshop
   • Delivering a highly interactive virtual change leadership workshop session for Senior Managers.
