Maybe THIS Is “Digital Transformation”

Maybe THIS Is “Digital Transformation”

Once upon a time, people bought newer cars (used or brand new) based on improved performance and more modern styling. The technology wasn’t greatly advanced. Push-button radios and automatic transmissions were hardly world-shaking.

Today, cars that are very well built and highly safe, with ageless design, are traded in because of advances in technology. People want CarPlay, rear cameras, automatic parking, blind-spot warnings, lane-change warnings, heated seats and neck warmers, On Star assistance, and so forth.

What about your products and services? And what about your clients’ products and services? They may still be effective and efficient, but do they include the most modern technology? At a basic level, workshops need to be accessed remotely or by tape to accommodate time zones, not just in person. Books are audible, electronic, and hard copy.

The “old” car might still get the job done, but that’s a low bar.
