My first weekly newsletter was written and sent back in January 2013. Today, nine years later, issue number 466 is being released. Like water, which can carve its way through stone, so does our content, created over time, help create our digital empire®.
While reviewing my newsletters from this past year, I have realized many profound learning moments for which I am thankful and appreciative. Here are 12 of them:
- Important things are worth fighting for.
- Observing my grandkids has provided me with exceptional life and business lessons.
- Make an impact and these days count by leveraging the various innovative technological platforms available at our fingertips.
- Begin each day by realizing that you’ve been given the opportunity to improve on the days that have passed and make this new day an incredible one. Call it your daily 2nd
- Publish consistently or remain invisible or the best-kept secret yet to be discovered.
- Instead of waiting for the pandemic or other challenging times to be over so you can get back to business as usual, take creative steps to make your business unusual.
- We study history to better understand the world around us so we may predict and be better prepared for the future. Let your old content guide you to create superior content and a better future.
- If you don’t make your clients feel special, someone else will.
- If you find yourself losing your momentum, don’t be harsh on yourself. Take one step forward, assess and repeat until your engine revs and you’re ready to zoom forward.
- Never stop dreaming, never stop trying new things and with that, take a few risks. It could change the way you see this great world and open your eyes to incredible wonders you never could have imagined before.
- Life is too short. Live your passions, rejoice in every moment, and live each and every day with fervor, tenacity and a positive outlook. Today is a gift, it’s why it’s called the present. Don’t let it go to waste.
- Uncover your hidden talents and your gifts that you have been sharing and those still hidden waiting for you to share with the world?
