Anticipation

Anticipation

I love the server or bartender who says, “Would you like your usual drink?” One guy sets up my martini when he sees me parking my car outside. Or when they automatically bring my wife a diet soda refill when the class is two-thirds empty. There are people in many stores waiting to help you, and approach you when you seem like you’re trying to find something. Then there’s the nurse who tells you before taking your blood pressure, “You’re in the doctor’s office, so it’s going to be higher than normal, don’t worry!”

These people are anticipating need. I’ve always tried to do that with clients. It’s of immense value and cements relationships.

In fact, I’m anticipating this will be helpful to you.
