The people who talk about “returning to normal” are those people who are going to be bringing up the rear in the new marketplaces.

How do conference centers and hotels lure back millions of dollars in convention business when organizations can meet virtually? After all, a boring speaker is just as ineffective remotely as “live.”

Do business owners think they can “go back” to treating employees as if they were furniture? We’re returning to virtually 0 unemployment during the next year. Employees will have more leverage than ever. The new workplaces and their allure had better not be what used to be.
